SCOPE OF WORK
The project was designed to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment. The space was designed for a modern learning centre located in the heart of Bangalore city. The flooring had to bring out a fun and interactive environment. Various colours and shapes were used to introduce a sense of play and interaction with the space.

The site had a floor area of 1500 sq.ft within which there were shapes and colours used. The shades selected were to be represented accurately on the floor. The shapes on the floor had to be installed with very clean lines. Since it is a commercial space, the floor needed easy maintenance and durability.


PROCESS
- The interior works were 80% completed while the floor work began
- All the areas were thoroughly masked and protected
- Reinforcement were laid on the floor and micro concrete coating was applied
- A total of 5 steps of applying micro concrete coatings were followed
- The shapes are installed with high skill and care
- A 3 steps PU sealer system was applied to give a long lasting and high abrasion resistant protection


OUTCOME
The micro concrete texture along with the clean lines of the shapes created an interesting dialogue. The floor is on of the most decorative elements used in this project. The clean edges, lines and transitions from concrete texture to wooden and steel elements were highly appreciated.
