SCOPE OF WORK
The project had previously installed wall surface that was not installed right. We were asked to correct this and apply our micro concrete wall coating as the existing walls had an issue of rising dampness.

The project was to apply wall micro-concrete coating on 6000 sq.ft of walls surface. 2 shades were selected to bring a subtle contrast. The area was spread over 3 stories inclusive of a central atrium. The micro-concrete coating needed to be breathable and had to withstand any rising dampness. The coating needed to also be easy to clean and maintain, in the long run.


PROCESS
- The existing surface was prepped
- All pits, damages and breakages are repaired
- The surface was cleaned to be dust free and primed
- The micro concrete plaster was applied in 2 to 3 layers
- The natural concrete texture was achieved through skilled application
- The surface was then sealed with a protective sealer to provide stain resistance


OUTCOME
The micro concrete wall surface tied perfectly into the overall aesthetics of the project. It acentuated the warmth of the palate used with its tactile nature. The rising dampness in the project was arrested and existing dampness in the walls faded away with no damage on the wall coating.
