SCOPE OF WORK
The Jugni project focuses on applying Micro-concrete to 1,010 square feet of interior and exterior columns, along with metal signage. The architects requested a salmon pink shade to be used throughout the space, ensuring that the material was seamless and matched the finish of the metal signage.
PROCESS
- The surfaces are initially prepared and thoroughly inspected for any cracks or imperfections.
- Any identified cracks are patched, and the surfaces are prepared for the base layers of Micro-cement.
- A mesh is applied to aid in the adhesion of the Micro-concrete to the surfaces.
- The top coats of Micro-concrete are then applied, followed by layers of sealers to protect and enhance the finish.
- The same methodology is applied to the metal signage to ensure consistency in texture and color.
OUTCOME
The final result achieved a muted salmon pink tone throughout the space, providing a perfect canvas for the other design elements. The metal signage, finished with the same shade and texture as the columns, created a seamless and elegant entrance, aligning perfectly with the architects' vision.
